Re: no sound in pc

Sounds like your tower only has one audio out, if that's the case you can only use one or the other monitor/speakers.

I purchased a set of Logitech LS21 speekers and I can' get them to work. Below is a list of my system hardware and the steps I have done so far. Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H 16GB RAM AMD...

Go into control panel, then go to device manager and see Audio devices. Check to see if your Realtek is listed as your default audio device. If it isn't you have to add hardware and add the audio device using your setup disk that should of came with the computer. If the audio device is set up and working in device manager then check your cable from the mother board to the jack on the audio out that is mounted on the mother board. Finally if non of that works see if you can borrow a set of speakers to try to see if they work with your setup.

When I turn on my speakers there is a hummmmmmm am I hooked up wrong? New at this!

Hi there bud ,,,make sure you installed the correct drivers for your Sound card or MB...also make sure your Green labled Jack cable is connected into the Green labled Jack Input in the Pc.....
Also try it on a different PC and if it still does the same, then it is faulty speekers unfortunatly...

Well my center speeker is not working but the rest are ok the speeker is ok but no sound . all the wires are pluged ...what can i do?

Do they use a jack plug the same size as a pair of headphones would? if so try plugging them into a radio or CD player to test that the speakers work, if you still dont get sound and your sure the volume and any other switches are in the correct possitions then you will know it is a fault with your speakers, if they do work then there is a fault with your computer outputting sound.

okay i think your base is too full.

turn off the base of your speekers and then try to play a song or a sound...

if not go to control panel and then sounds and lower down the base volume bar
