What does energy saver do ?

Energy saver alows you to minimize the amount of energy used to run the appliance efficently thru different settings on the appliance

To use the Energy Saver option:

• Press the control to On to save energy when the environment is less humid.
• Press the control to Off when the environment is warm and more humid, or if moisture is noticed on the hinged seal.

The energy saver option is used to provide less draw on the electricity current, in return, reducing your monthly electrical bill, while producing an optimal cooling cycle, and proper cycling intervals of the compressor unit, as well. This option, or state of operation, will reduce the amount of your monthly electrical bill by 1/3, if used correctly. It will, also, increase the life of the compressor assembly as well, by shortening the running time.

This is a great feature, and can be beneficial.
