From what I can tell and after researching the same issue it is the
KRZR. I called both Verizon tech support and my bluetooth tech support.
There is no solution
If you notice some of the functions in the Blue tooth Pairing/connection menu functions don't even work. (The on off for instance and the settings) After it is paired. I tried my bluetooth with other phones and it works fine.
I am going to the Verizon store to complain untill i get a different model.
In short the KRZR software is defective

I have an iPhone 3G 8g. The solution for pairing is: turn the headset on until blue light flashes every second or so, then press the power button and the - button on the volume for 2 secs, the power button and blue button will flash alternatively red and blue. Turn the bluetooth on via settings>general>bluetooth the iPhone will then pick up the divise. Enter 1234 on the phone and it will pair.

Just switch the headset on then put the phone on .
go to application or tools on your phone and switch the bluetooth on.
now select search for divce while you press the middle of the +and- switch on the headset for few seconds, your phone will find it .
now press connect on your phone if asked for pin enter either 0000 or 1234 it will pair definitly

I don'y know if this will help anyone who's still struggling but with my AOEM GW-BT-002 You have to press the + and - volume button together immediately after you switch the device on (whilst the Blue light is still solid). If you do not catch it in time turn off then on again and hope you're fast enough :)

Try turning the KRZR's bluetooth on then hold down either the button on the front or the volume control (i can't remember which) for about 5 seconds

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
