Don't listen to Natahan, Studguy17. Natahan doesn't understand that you are trying to unbrick your psp and downgrade to firmware 1.5 where you can then upload and install custom firmware made by either m33, noobz or someone else that will allow you to play games downloaded off the internet for free. As for 3.80, I'm not quite sure if the proper files have been developed yet as 3.80 is a fairly recent firmware. I'm sure you have heard of the pandora battery and magic memory stick. If you haven't this won't make much sense so research it and read this again. The pandora battery in conjunction with the magic memory stick(mms) is used to unbrick your psp slim(psp 3000). In this case there are files that are created for us to place on our mms to match the firmware we are trying to downgrade. Once the appropriate files have been released for 3.80 most google searches will come up with it. Once downgraded, you'll then want to update it with custom firmware provided by hacking teams like m33. This is so you can still enjoys the fruits of Sony's updates and still play your free games. Firmware update files with names like 3.71m33 or 3.50m33 have nothing to do with the process of downgrading your psp they come into play after the downgrade is complete.
Tip: If you are frequenting any psp hacking related forums, pay attention to the names of the hackers being mentioned and google them to see of they have any of their own websites with firmware updates on them.

It's impossible to downgrade your PSP from it's current version. I'm not quite sure why you'd want to downgrade, but maybe you should upgrade (If a version is available) again and see if you like that version better. ^-^
