Thank you 'eagle eyes' Mark, however, and I hate to use that word, whilst checking I noticed that one of the cd's is half loaded. I think I may have to connect it to a player to release it. only problem is finding one. That is unless you are able to advise further, technolgy seems to be leaving me behind..

Try a flat bit of card or ruller. insert it under the cart/mag and wiggle it. you will need to trip the catch, its about half way accross the middle of the magthis wil onlt work if the mag is not half loaded ie the trays are not out.

CD discs fell into the SONY CD changer. They're rattling around inside. What to do?

Use common sense in removing them- You may have to open the unit up to see where they are. I can not see where they are located in your unit but usually opening the unit up will allow you to extract the discs without damage from the extraneous regions.

Mini CD fall inside the CD comparment, which is out and can't go back in cause the mini CD is in its way

You will need to open the case of the pc, extract the cd unit, remove its cover (take the 4 small screws at the bottom first) then extract the disk.

Need to know how to setup print without cd

Installing a printer without CD is done in the same way as with the CD but you will have to browse the driver from a location on your PC. Steps:
  1. Download, save and extract (if applied) the desired print driver from the maker of your printer.
  2. Go to Printer setup window (in case of Winsdows operating systems, you need to check devices and printer)
  3. Add a printer
  4. Select the printer port, (insert IP address if printer is networked or point to the correct port in case you use other connection type)
  5. Click next and it will request for the printer model and driver. Now select, "FromDisk" and browse to the folder you extracted the files to. Step 1
  6. Follow the normal instalation wizard.

Nissan primera, engine management light permanently on. When car is first started gearbox changes without a problem. when the engine gets warm it sticks in 1st or sticks in 3rd and 4th and won't change...

Hi Kev,

Your Nissan Primera has an on-board diagnostic computer which can detect malfunctions in either engine or transmission.

When the Engine Management light remains lit, this means some faults are present and need investigating.

From what you've described, one of the issues is indeed related to the transmission, but you will need to have the trouble codes (DTC's) extracted from your vehicle's computer, in order to determine what requires repair.

Whenever power is disconnected (i.e. the battery) and re-connected, this resets your vehicle's computer momentarily, until such time as it detects the fault again.

Recommend you either have your local dealer extract the codes (for a small 15min labor fee), or learn to extract the codes yourself, using a suitable jumper wire.
