My home pc crashed last night. Having recovered from that I am now unable to connect to my Netgear DG834pn wireless router. My laptop is still connected fine. My ISP is Virgin.

- I'm wirelessly trying to connect. The PC can see that the router is there but when I try to connect it comes up with "acquiring network address" and then sticks at that point. Hope that helps.
You'll have to unplug the router, plug it back in after a minute or so, then hold down the reset button until the lights go off and come back on again. This will reset all the information and you can relogin and set everything up the way you had it before. Remember your new login and password will be: admin

- You need to either reset the router or it could be that your password is incorrect. To change the password reset the router and enter a new one. Write it down somewhere so you can login if it happens again.
