just call you service provider and say your goin out of the country and the will give you your code and walk you through the steps i unlock phones all the time

a lot of independant phone shops unlock phones, i took my 5310 to one place about 3 weeks ago. they said it'd be a month or so before they had updated software to unlock it, but told me to hold on to it because they will be able to do it.

You can't unlock it unless you get the code directly from nokia or a service provider with that specific serial number on your phone. I'd avoid messing around with it since it'll permanently lock if you fail too many times. I'd go to aprofessional place, sorry.

This won't help people who needs their phone unlocked at the moment, but I didn't realize this until I researched it. If you get a cell phone from your carrier, they can give you the code to unlock it. The thing is you actually need the phone with you and your sim card in it, after they get the needed information from the cellphone, they will email you instructions how to unlock it, usually 24-48 hours later. When you get the instructions, you are free to unlock that cell phone. Then you can use it for any network, or sell it. (Sorry Emil)

Hi Friend´s. Sorry my English is not perfect "anyway" i will try :-) I work as Unlocker in Faroe Islands. I had my first Nokia 5310 XpressMusic inn for unlock. None of my boxes could do anything about it, then i try with a "unlock" card called i-smart phone, it work´s. :-) I still have some of card left. Hope this help ???
