Does the green light come on on the power adapter? If not, it's a bad power cord/adapter, assuming you're connecting it to a good power socket in the wall.

sounds like plug in ac is bad on the back of your laptop there is a lace on th internet they will fix it for 99.00 shipping and & handling are about 15.00 it is grand. for life just go to ask and put in repair ac addpater it's in west virginna they repair our customers it works great now .....
