I am trying to upgrade my Evo n610c and I am not sure where the memory slots are. I was told that it could not be upgraded and that the maximum is 512 MB. I do not have the manual and I was trying to find a video to show me how install the memory but I have not found anything. Could you please help me with this?

actually, that is not the location of the ram on a evo n610.
the correct location is actually to the left of the touchpad.
the square piece is removable by using a very thin flathead
screwdriver underneath the fn (function key). If you look closely
there is a spot to stick in the screwdriver and pry it open.
The cover on the bottom of the laptop is actually the modem cover and access to the rtc battery. If you're interested, i have both the user manual and service manual as pdf's. They're very helpful, I learned how to reset the bios password with these. If your interested, here's my email - pdrift86 (at) yahoo (dot) com.
Just substitute the at with "@" and dot with a "."

there is a square or rectangular piece on the bottom of the laptop that can be opened with a screw. if you have the extra ram, then open up the piece on the bottom, and installing the ram should be as simple as clicking it in, no force should be needed. get back to me if there is no piece to unscrew on the bottom, this model may be different than others
