I know others have had the same problem, but I'll ask again, as the solutions are a little vague for me. I JUST purchased my D-link router and went through the painful process of setting it up via the web, because the setup wizard doesn't work on MacBooks. First of all, when setting up, I got through all of the process until it said that it was saving and rebooting the router. I pressed continued and after not doing anything for 10 minutes, a "cannot display page" came up. I tried again numerous times to no avail. While my laptop was physically plugged into the router I was able to navigate the internet, but as soon as I unplugged the ethernet and attempted to connect wirelessly, my AirPort would say that I was connected, but I was unable to open internet pages (ie. google, hotmail), as well as use programs that required the internet. Can anyone give me a step by step guide of how I can fix this. My apologies, I'm hardly computer savvy.
You seem to have done everything correctly but anytime you make a change to the router (via web or ip) , it is a good idea to reboot the computer. The changes create a "lockdown" and will not allow you to go any further, especially if implementing security or changing password.
After rebooting the computer, were you able to get on-line again?

Hello, I have the router D-link WBR-2310. I managed to set up my notebook in order to access the Internet (LAN and WLAN). But I need to access the Internet, at the same time, with another computer. How can I do it? (my server allows me to use two computers at the same time, by two different IP ports). I have an other notebook, and I can see the network (wireless). I also have a desktop, and I can see that it is connected to the network. But I can not access the Internet. I'd appreciate some help. Daniel (from Brazil).

Clarification: I have the ssid set and can access the internet, just can't access the linux file server that is wired to the router. The servers are not showing up in networked computers
