Question about Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U 42 in. LCD HDTV
Sounds like you might have PIP turned one (picture in picture) .. if there is no input hooked up for the PIP . you will just get a black screen ... you should be able to move that PIP around and change its size .. indeed turn it off .. look for a menu item called PIP .. select PIP off ..
