Well it is possible that you partationed the hard drive

if you dont see a c drive and a drive in your system it means the rest of the hard drive isnt in use..
if you see it and ou only have 1 hard drive then it is in use..
IT SHOULD SHOW UP AS
LOCAL DISC C
and
LOCAL Disc D

what you need to do is format your computer, remove all partations and just instally directly on yout hard drive without partitioning it :)
regards and best of luck for the new year

Try Chilton on-line auto repair manuals, there's a fee to join, or you can buy one for your vehicle at any auto parts store for around 20 $. Also your nearest dealership should be able to help. GL

Hello I bought a hp dv7 4069wm refurb, I used to work retail and often the problem people had with the refurbs were software problems they couldn't figure, still I took a gamble. The pc booted up and went...

This sounds like your SATA drive is loosing connection with motherboard connector to the hard drive... seeing that this is a refurb system... maybe the hard drive is not secured to the chassis and causing the errors you are receiving.

Why is my acer laptop keyboard and touchpad not working at all?

Acer laptops are very problematic depending on the care of them, thats why they are (mostly) inexpensive computers. i wouldnt mess with it since a few things could cause this problem like a damaged motherchip, wire melting caused by over heating, and i would take it somewhere like a repair or refurb shop to have it fixed and not mess around with it.

Unable to read Lacie external drive

Hi!

Try right clicking Computer (in the start menu or shown on desktop as "My Computer") and clicking Manage. Then when that pops up, jump into Disk Management (left hand side). See if it shows up there. Often it can just be the fact that you need to right click the drive and click "Change drive letters". Post back if it doesn't show up there and we can try some other troubleshooting.

You could also try checking to see in Device Manager (also in that manage screen to the left bit) and then click Disk Drives and see if it shows up in there at all.
