Question about Jolly Giant QWS3270 Plus (qws3270maint) for PC

Error ws 05a8 connection failed

We are trying to connect to a mainframe from our pc home to support oncall. we are getting error WS 05A8 , connection failed trying to connect to host 127.0.0. 1 at port 10023. We tried everything :
turning off the firewall, checking router settings, turning off pop up , reinstalling the software, making sure that we have the right setting in advance tab of tools in interntet explorer.We don't know where else to look. May be we have a wrong java application ??

Jolly Giant is a commercial vendor of the QWS320 software.
As such, it provides technical support to registered users of its (originally "Queens university Windows Sockets") software.
Contact them for support.
Also, connect the System Administrators of 'pernet1.hoffman.army.mil', to ensure that their computer is still accepting TELNET/3270 connections from your IP-address.

Sometimes the convergence IC's failing will cause this. Also, the coolant for the picture tube can leak onto the circuit boards causing damage. Need to have it looked at asap as the coolant problem gets continuously worse.

go to control panel--network and internet--n/w and sharing centre---manage wireless n/ws---remove all wireless n/ws u see there including ur n/w name......then click start--connect to---connect to ur n/w typing proper encryption keys

My ws-65611 always stay in 480i even with HD signal.

If you are using the component connection, make sure you are connected to the one that will support 1080i. If that is not the problem, make sure that the HD receiver is outputting 1080i and not 720p. No RPCRT will support 720p and the video may be down-rezed to 480 since this is the case.

Connecting PS3 to Mitsubishi WS-55809

On the back of the TV you should find three sets of the component sockets, only one can produce 1080, the one that is labeled dtv (should be the one on the farthest right of the three sets).

ERROR during Conection - ws error 05a8

i have the same problem trying to connect to mainframe computer from home.
i got ws error 05a8 , can not connet to the host at 127.0.0.1 port 10023.
please help.We tried everything we could disabling firewall, spysweeper, allowing pop ups, reinstalling the software. We contacted our computer administrator at work and the ip, port are correct.

unable to install Jolly gaint 3.7.5 in windows 7 we are trying to install JOLLY GAINT 3.5.7 emulator in WINDOWS 7 but it is showing error saying 'sofware cannot be installed'. But in WINDOWS 2003 it worked. please let us know what could be the problem.
