my acer aspire 4920 tries to turn on, the fan starts then power cuts out then it tries to start up again but then turns off completly. Please help i have so much important stuff on there!

there are multiple reasons why your laptop turns on then off after a few seconds of turning it on. It is either your processor is no longer working so it automatically shuts it down, the ram or the on board video. bring the laptop to a laptop service shop for it to be disassembled and have its processor, ram and video card replaced. they will then be able to detect what really is the problem when they test and replace each of them.
