Hi i want the date off of my do i do that?....I have a hp photosmart m525

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

I don't have a manual for this camera, and would like to print one off the internet. I took pictures and would like to print them with my HP Portable Photo Printer, but when I connect the camera to the...

Did you try going to the camera's web site, locating your camera model there, and then downloading the camera's manual that way? I have downloaded many full manuals for free this way. It's worth checking out. Chances are it will be there and free of charge. If that doesn't work, you can contact customer service through the camera's home web site and they'll send you a manual...not sure if it's free though. There's always eBay for camera manuals!

Missed my usb cable and software

depending on what computer you have you can take the card out of the cam and put it in the "CARD READER" if you have it, most store bought desk tops have them and just about ANY LOPTOP made today has them on the side or front of unit, or if you printer has a "card reader" you can print them that way...HOWEVER you will need to write down the ones you want to print unless you a a viewer lcd screen on the printer

Help! Can't date stamp the picture and there are no instructions

By default Olympus cameras do not print the date on the images when they are downloaded to a PC. Olympus does not include this functionality because they feel that it detracts from image quality. There is a function of the camera called print order or print reservation that you can set that it will print the date on the images but this is only if you take the card to a photo processing store. However if you use the Olympus Master software and print the images that you have previously transferred there is a check box in the print setting window that you can add the date and or time to the printed image.

Gota be a printer fault, either in the printer itself or the printer/pc communication software, could possibly be corrupted, maybe you should try a reinstall of all printer software as first step

Print Picture with date

I don't believe that the XTi will let you have the date on the picture.
Easiest solution I can think of is to download some free software like and use the text tool to add it in the corner before printing.
If you have forgotten the date or time, and you're using windows (not sure how to do this on a mac) right click on the image, go to properties, click the summary tab, and then click Advanced. That will give you something called the EXIF data, or all the info about the picture (camera model, shutter speed, etc). Near the bottom should be the date and time.

Date / Time printed on image?

There are some third-party software programs that will extract the date/time info from your EXIF data stored in the images and apply them to the image for printing. There are a couple threads here and on about them. You can also use the ZoomBrowser software that came with your A80 to do some limited date/time printing for specific images. It's not the standard format (uses a box w/ drop shadow) but it is another option.

I'm getting really confused with the resolution stuff

The C4000 is a 4 megapixel camera and can produce photos that should produce very nice 8 x 10 photos. 11 x 14 prints may be pushing it a bit. Your cameras should be set for 2048 x 1536 and the .jpg compression should be set to "Super High". Better yet, that camera can produce TIFF format. For photos you plan to print, use the TIFF format. The other half of this process is the printer. Most inkjet printers have a number of settings. Make sure that it is set for photo paper and be sure to use glossy photo paper. If you can print a 8 x 10 print in less than a minute, your printer is not set right. If it seems like it is taking forever, it is set right. .................... Using Photoshop Elements 2: Open your photo into Elements. Click Image, Resize, Image Size Remove the checkmark from "Resample Image" Change resolution to 300. Notice that the width height is about 5 x 7 inches. So if you print that photo at 300 dpi (dots per inch), you will get an outstanding 5 x 7 print. Most inkjet printers produce their very best outputs at 300 dpi. At 200 dpi, the image is still quite good. When you get below 150, you will start to see changes in quality. Now set the Resolution to 200 dpi and notice that the output size has changed to about 8 x 10 inches. Now check to see how it will look on paper. click OK. Click File, Print Preview You can verify that the photo fits on the paper and that the paper is correct (horizontal/vertical). Now print the photo. The next window that opens should let you get to your printer properties and you can verify that you have the printer set for it best settings and that paper is set to photo paper.
