Panasonic TH-50PX75U HDTV Plasma Television

The tv wont start

Hi
we bought the Panasonic TH-50PX75U yesterday and when we tried to setup the TV, all we see is a black sceen. The TV is getting into standby position as we see that the red (power) light is blinking despite our efforts to power it on. We used the both the remote and the power switch many times with no use.

there is an input button. Press this button untill you reach the input that you plugged into.
