Whant to take a photo of myself via webam to pdf format

There are a couple of things you can do to create a PDF from an image file. If you have access to Photoshop just open the file in that and save as a PDF. If you don't have photoshop you could try a free online jpeg to PDF converter (I am not affiliated with this co but a Google search for "free online jpeg to PDF converter" brought up this top result, ) The other way is to simply paste your jpeg image file (or insert picture/media file) into a doc or Word document and save it as a PDF. Hope this helps

I am having trouble changing the default "save" directory on the

The default 'save' directory for Livecam is fixed as: My Documents\My Pictures\LIvecam Files on C: drive.
However, you CAN change the location of My Documents e.g. put it on D: drive. See the MS Knowledge base for how to do this:

I have hp officejet 6110 all- in- one and cannot scan page of text into my computer. Printer gives message "Scanning error. Cannot connect to computer."

If you have updated to Internet Explorer 7 or 8, the HP Director program won't work correctly without the update patch from HP Support. Go to HP Support, put in the model number of the device and search for drivers. Look for a special driver or patch for Internet Explorer and download and install. This will allow the HP director to run from the desktop. Once it is started you should restart your printer and make sure it is connected with a USB, or if it is connected directly to the router for your home network, you should uninstall the printer, then reinstall the printer and see if the computer sees it this time with the new driver on the hard drive. Once it installs, see if the HP Director can be started from the desktop and choose scan document, It will ask what you want to scan and where do you want to scan it to. Click document or picture...I have mine set up to scan text documents as PDF's and Pictures as JPGs. I then set it to "Save to file" when the scanning is done, whether it is one file or many, the director will then ask what folder you want to save the files to. That's all there is to it. Good Luck, ParrotHead PC Repair

Problem with macally icecam

1. You can open only one video application at a time, therefore, you need to quit ALL the application first, then open the one application you want to use. such as YIM or Skype.

2. Please open the iceCam Monitor, go to Monitor tab, check the "Record Video" and select "Record Until MouseClick".
A new Save window will pop up, set up the filename and location and click SAVE button.
Once you click the mouse button, it will save the recorded video as QuickTime Movie clip format file on the selected location.
If you want a picture, you could run the video and pause it and make a screen shot to grab the picture from the video.

I too have had this problem, I think you will find you pic's/files in a Directory under your Documents & Settings,Your Dir,my Documents, for XP, User, etc, etc for Vista. There will be a Directory under My Documents there probably Starcam or the like.. Another way I have used is to use this program Agent Ransack a brilliant stand alone search program here: Install this and place an Icon on ya desktop. Then wat ya do is take a picture, then call it something unique, and save it as usual, but just B4 ya do, copy the to be saved name, to ya clipboard, if you like. Then use agent Ransack to find that file..if ya copied B4 you could now simply Paste in in the search box, or type it, with or without an extension and "Start Search" & when found, take note of where the address of the file is, under Ransack's "Location Tab"., and thats where the "Rest" of your files will no doubt be... Copy that address into your explorer window and press enter and you should be there.
