When I try to turn on my Samsung LN-T4042H LCD

When I try to turn on my Samsung LN-T4042H LCD HDTV it is now constantly clicking in a continuous loop and will not immediately turn on. It started out small- a few clicks yesterday morning. Today it literally took 13 minutes of constant clicking until finally it took hold and turned on. Now it will not turn on and it keeps clicking until I unplug the TV.

There is a problem with the power supply in your TV. The regulator switch is causing teh clicking sound you hear. In order to fix it, you will need to replace the power supply. This is done by taking off the back cover of the TV, locating the power supply which is usually a yellow board that will have many high voltage capicators on it and replacing it with a new one.
