Question about Logitech Harmony 1000 LCD Touchscreen Remote Control
- Remove the battery from the Harmony Remote for 10 seconds and insert it back in, and test the remote to see if the screen is displayed properly. If this does not fix the issue, please proceed with the following steps.
- Make sure you have the latest Logitech Harmony Software (version 7.6.0) installed on your computer.
- Connect your Harmony Remote to the computer. Run the Logitech Harmony Remote software on the computer and Login to your account.
- Click on the "Downloads" button at the top and select "Firmware"
- Remote will go through the firmware update, which will put the Harmony Remote back to Factory Default with the most updated firmware. Then software will ask you to select "Yes" to update the remote and click on "Next" to do a remote update, which will take the information on your account with your Devices and Activities and bring them into the Harmony Remote.
- If this Firmware Update process does not fix the LCD screen issue, try doing a Firmware Update in "Safe Mode". To do this; remove the battery from the remote, press and hold the "Off" button on the top of the Harmony Remote and insert the battery back in to the Harmony Remote. Screen will display "Safe Mode" and then please follow the steps 3 through 5 again.
