Problem for Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer

I have an old Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 series washer.

i have a Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 series washer. the cold water trickles when filling. i have cleaned out hoses but problem still exists

Did you clean the mesh screen filter in the end of the hose where it connects to the valve. It can stop up with sediment.

- The water inlet valve is on the other end of the incoming water hose on the back.. It's usually blue and each side works independent of the other according to the water temp. selected. If the water flows good coming out of the valve then the problem is else where. Look for kinked water line etc.

its a filter inside the water hose thats still blocked or the relay inside the washer for the cold feed is not opening up fully it could just need a clean or maybe a new one fitted
