How To Split A Plastic Drum ? I have an Ariston

How To Split A Plastic Drum ? I have an Ariston AVXL105 with a failed bearing. I have removed the drum but how do you split the plastic drum ?!. There is a central seam but there are no bolts, it appears it has been press fitted. Levering the seam with a screwdriver I think will surely damage the seal. Many thanks for any advice
