sounds like a power supply issue.
The best way to test this is to disconnect everything from the board except the power cables and front panel cables. Try and boot the system.
If it does boot, reconnect everything one item at a time, shutting down and rebooting between each item plugged in. When you get to the no boot again, suspect the last item you plugged back in.
If it now boots with everything connected, you had a dirty connection which was preventing the system from booting.
Take special care with usb ports as shorted pins in these ports will prevent the power supply from switching on.
If you still get no response when everything is unplugged, suspect the power supply.
If you can, plug the supply into a known working board and boot it. if it still refuses to boot, replace the supply. If it does boot, go through the above procedure again. If this fails to show an issue, suspect a faulty mainboard..
would Suspect :- Faulty PSU.
Blown fuse In the 3 Pin plug.
Power Button/Switch On/Off faulty Or Disconnected from The Motherboard. Motherboard Faulty Component failure.

Hi, I have installed Realtek ALC888S driver on an Acer lowcost PC but the device 'HD AUDIO' shows up twice - once with the working driver and secondly without driver installed. So I remain with one device that has no good driver installed. The effect occurs both in Windows XP and in Windows 2003. Anyone any ideas? Tks Ronald
