(O6 silverado 5.3 Shifts way too much

Hi, I just bought the truck. (O6 silverado 5.3, auto)It shifts into overdrive before reaching 50 and downshifts at the slightest touch of the pedal. Its worse towing my small boat. Even with the cruise set at 70 it downshifts very often even on a level surface. It does this with or without the towing button pushed in. The fluid level is ok. Thanks, Mark

sounds like the over drive sensor is bad ive heard of that befor and replaced it and that fixed it
