I just time warner to hook up my internet and they supplied me with a modem without an on/off switch. How do I safely shut the modem off when I want to use my computer off line?

Almost all cable modem dont really have a ON/OFF switch on it and the only way to power it off is to unplug from the power dont worry that is safe to do....
