Question about Linksys Wireless-N WRT150N Router
Security mode is DISABLED by default. In order to turn this on you need to go to the router configuration page. Go to http://192.168.1.1 in your browser and enter Admin for the username and admin for the password. Click on the Wireless button, then Wireless security. This is where you configure the security settings.

You said that the Internet connection is dropping. It is a modem *** router.
If there is any MTU settings , then reduce the MTU.
For example If MTU is 1500 then reduce it to 1400.
Otherwise you will need to upgrade the Firmware of the router.

When you enter a WEP key, you must completely redo the new connection on the PC, remove the adapter and start all over again as in reinstall the driver, then do the connect to network, thing. BTW, you MUST save the setting in the router, and reboot the router, and then reboot PC, and then try to establish a connection. You should also use this tip, when you generate that BIG number WAP?WEP Key, copy/paste it to a notepad document, and save as wapkey. No after saving it in router and rebooting, when you come to the Field to enter the WAP/WEP key when logging onto the Router, you can simply copy & paste back from that notepad document you saved before. Now you should be able to login, remember to save network setting too. so you don't have to enter it each time you login.
