Re: deh-p7900bt no sound

Lol... i had the same problem...

there is a blue wire in the TRUCK ADAPTER HARNESS side.. thats the amp remote or turn on..

make sure to connect that to the blue or blue/white "remote" wire on the deck.. that should do it.. unless you fried the audio ic chip in the deck...

if you cant figure it out please dont rate me "unhelpful" thanks

How to install boss 612ua in 2004 dodge stratus

Have a wiring harness for your vehicle if not get one and have a dash kit that fits your vehicle now plug the new harness into the plug that came from your stock radio now match all the wires from the stereo to the harness twist and tape if you can't solder also may need an antenna adapter to fit your new stereo all wires should be labeled and it's ok if there are a couple you don't use

I just hooked up a pioneer deh-5100ub stereo in my 2004 dodge ram 1500 pick-up using a store bought wiring harness but I cannot get any sound from my speakers now.

Does you truck say Infinity anywhere on a door panel or such? If so you need to make sure that the blue wire from the store bought wiring harness is connected to the amp turn on from the pioneer.

I've got a 1988 Dodge Ram and I know nothing about Car Stereos

go down to a electronics shop (future shop or best buy) and they will have a connector that will fit the original plug. Some splicing will be required but its all color coded with the deck
hope this helps

I have a DEH-P7900BT. It was working very well for the last one year. But last week onwards I am facing a strange issue. The audio from the system go blank (mute) for few seconds and then come back. This...

I would check both of the power wires for the unit. There is a yellow one and a red one. The yellow one always has power regardless of the position of the ignition switch. The red one only gets power when the ignition switch is in the on position. Also does this only happen when the vehicle is in motion or does it happen just sitting and listening to the stereo? It also could possibly be the ground wire not getting a good connection. Make sure the ground wire is tightly connected to something that is metal. Good luck.

I installed a pioneer Deh P49001B car stereo in a 1997 dodge stratus with wiring adapter from best buy. everything works great until you switch on the lights. all power to stereo is gone.

to solve the problem with it turning off when u turn your lights on is that on the back side of your radio is a spot that says max and something else keep your ground wires conected just how they are but get u a a 14 to 12 gage wire a cut u about 6 inches and use one end and connect to your other ground wires (with Connecters ) and the other end and with a closed end connecter with the little hole in the center i cant place wat its called but any ways put it where that max hole thing is where there is a screw there and that should fix that problem cause i had that happen before .. but make sure your antentia is pluged iin to ok .. good luck Paul,

Twice my Pioneed DEH-P7900BT has just stopped working. Keyboard went dark and the unit shut off. I pressed the button to open the face place and it opened and is stuck that way. It also didn't eject my CD...

This sounds like a wiring problem. Double check all of you connections. If the Connections look good then I would check the connections inside the radio. Check the power wire mostly. The wire could have a bad solder joint inside the radio itself.
