i cant use my hp 4315v all in one printer with my sony vaio with windows vista home premium because i insert the disc that comes with my printer and i cant do it

What do you mean "I can't do it"? Is vista telling you your printer is incompatible or is there a problem reading the disc? Please clarify your problem.

The disc you have for your printer more than likely does not have Vista drivers
Here is the link for the drivers
Just select the operating system and download and install the driver with the printer plugged in
