Question about Krups XP2070 10 cup Coffee Maker/15 bar Pump Espresso
I used the machine yesterday, and it worked fine. However, I noticed leaking water on the counter. Today, the machine is dead- no LCD, won't turn on and not power.
The outlet is good. This machine is only 3 months old.
I actually returned the machine, and was given a replacement.

Remove all standing water. I was able to do this by simply hitting the stop button. The machine emptied the water for me. It just would run a load. However, a shop vac or turkey baster works fine.
Unscrew the dishwasher from the counter top (2 philips screws). Also unscrew the plate near the floor. This plate is either phillips or socket. You must take the bottom off so you can raise the leveling feet. this give you the clearance to pull the unit out.
Pull out the unit, open the door and remove the racks. In the top right of the machine, you will notice a circle. This is a simple nut that if you turn will free the broken vent which. The nut is inside the machine, but the vent actually sits on top of the unit. It's best to pull out the machine before loosening the nut because, if loose, it may catch when you pull the unit out on the counter and bust the vent.
Last, before removing the fan, follow the wire to the bottom of the machine and simply unplug it from the connector.
Read the serial number to verify it on the fan then google it and order a part. I ordered my vent for about $115 and overnighted it for another $20.
Last, simply follow the steps in revers, with one modification, Test it!
Install the fun > connect the nut > plug the wire in > Test!!! > push machine into the space > lower the feet > attach to counter with phillips > fixed!!!
