You have a focus control located on the right side bottom of the set. Try adjusting that. If that doesn't work you could have a flyback transformer going bad.

Completely dead with nothing suggests maybe a blown or open fuse--first step would be to unplug and look for a fuse--follow the power cord.

How do I replace and purchase the power fuse on a RCA model F35760mb

To purchase a fuse you have to visit your local electronics parts center or in home workshops. To replace the fuse, open the back cover of the tv set and locate the end of the cord which is soldered in the circuit board. beside it is the fuse holder replace it. Make sure to unplug the unit while doing the replacement to avoid electrical shocks.

Panasonic plasma hdtv will not power on--no blinking LED, simply no LED. Other objects plugged into same surge protector are fine; no evidence or suggestion of a power surge.

The power supply board itself maybe the main problem inside the TV. Or, it maybe something simple like a blown fuse. Replacement fuses can be found at Radio Shack or some other electronic supply store.
If it turns out the TV keeps blowing fuses, the main power supply may need to be replaced. You can find replacements at a good price at Shopjimmy.com

Rca tv won't power on

it may need a Flyback Transformer or a burnt capasitor and resistors. there are many posts with this same problem. Some a little different. Check the fuse just inside where the power supply cord goes in . if the fuse is blown you will have to find the reason it burned . But maybe you will be lucky and replace the fuse. And it will turn on. but I think that only a TV technician can fix the problem.I have a background on TV repair and I think it's the Flyback transformer. sometimes you canresolder them and they stay.
