Problem for Apple iPhone 3G

My Iphone 3GS doesnt ring when someone calls

I adjusted the ringer on my Iphone 3GS to the max allowed. With my home phone on one hand, I called my cell on the other, I could not hear it ringing as about a week ago, I did.

In my settings, silent vibrate is ON. Ring vibrate in ON. Sound is on max.
When I call my cell, it vibrates only but doesnt make a sound.

Help please!
