Xerox 8560 MFP. Only 1 year old, can't copy on both side of paper. when I was in Warrenty, the scanner had to be replaced. I hope its not the scanner. All of our older Phasers work great but maybe the MFP is not up to par. What do you think.
Thanks, Gene

- What do you think about downloading a new firmware?

- It also copies not prints, but copies light.

- Absolutely, thats one of the reasons why I went to Xerox MFP. Also, coping light but not print.
could you ever make double sided copies? From what you say it could be a problem with the duplex system. Can you make single sided copies from the document feeder?

Our Phaser 8560MFP has been having some seemingly minor issues lately - Frequently failing on sending faxes, slow to print (almost as if it's holding on to the paper for a few extra moments before sending it out), things of that nature. They're not really serious issues but I assume they're indicative of a broader problem. Do I need to do a firmware upgrade or something? We don't have a service contract for the machine and the boss would greatly prefer not to pay someone hundreds of dollars for something we could do fairly simply ourselves. The copier was purchased in 2006 and I don't believe it has had any firmware or software upgrades but it might have (the copier predates me). Is there a way for me to determine if it has had any? Any advice?
