Where is the jumper on a motherboard for dell

That page explains what jumpers are and where they're GENERALLY located. Each motherboard is different. There are usually some abreviations near the jumpers that let you know what it is that they're for. You need to be a computer guru to understand a lot of them. I'm assuming you've locked yourself out of the system bios and forgot the password. The picture in the link above should show you what that jumper might me labeled as.

There are no jumpers on a D430, if you need to reset a BIOS or HDD password, you will have to contact Dell Tech Support (800-624-9896 USA) can get the password reset from them.
