Re: needle help

Using a pair of needle nose pliers grasp the needle as far up as you can and pull down. Sometimes a slight twist will help.

Simplicity sewing machine SL 9240 was giving to me and when I try to sew the needle keeping hitting the bobbin holderr.

On the right side you have two knobs to make adjustments. The lower knob will move the needle left or right so it won't hit the bobbin holder.

How to threading machine

the typical track for the top thread will go from the top thread hold to the metal unit towards the top left of the machine slightly to the right and down to loop under a thread holder. Then up and through the moving metal arm just left of the last path of the thread and then down again towards the needle. It will be placed behind an metal stationary guard located on the needle holder and then just through the needle from the front to back.
I know that sounds confusing so here is a helpful video that also shows you how to take care of the bottom bobbin. I hope this helps!!

ball point, it depends on what fabric is being sewed what needles you
use,, but call or email these sites and ask them what they suggest

Simplicity model 1512. - quite sewing- the motor will run but needle will not move

I would say that the belt is broken or has came off the pulley. If you turn the hand wheel, does the needle move up and down. If it moves up and down, your problem is the belt. Remove necessary covers to access the motor pulley. Inspect, repair or replace as necessary.

Need settings for Simplicity easyLock SL370 rolled hem. Machine belongs to a friend who recently moved and the instruction manual has gone missing. Thank you!

narrow 3thread seam, so remove left needle. loosen top looper tension to 3 or 2, tighten bottom looper tension to 7 or 8. thread top looper with woolly overlock thread and reduce stitch length. there is also a thread finger u need to flick back on throat or needle plate usually to make rolled hem. also move blade to right to trim less fabric as you want the fabtic to roll under inside the seam.

What is the needle system for Simplicity 804D serger?

For the both you listed (brother 925d and simplicity 804d) it is a "15x1" which is a standard home needle. Same size the fits almost all home sewing machines. Make sure to put the flat side of the needle to the back.

Let me know if you have any more questions,

Simplicity so5 needle wont move

There is a device on the right side of the machine to make this work. It is either a knob to turn or a plate to push in. It is located on the right side of the machine in the wheel that turns when the machine is running. This is used to wind a bobbin. The needle doesn't run when the bobbin winder is being used,
