Each time I turn on my JM53 MP3 it flashed up that I have a FAT error, plz insert UMS......Im so stuck donmt know whats going on, please help me : )???

my gigabeat is frozen. all it says is " error the battery is low,portable media center will shut down soon". Its been like that for 3 weeks now, someone please help me for the love of god!

my toshiba mp3 player model #mes3ov screen is frezing it sayes the portable media center has an error,the battery is low and will shut off soon.
