My printer carriage won't stop going back and

Reset process is........unplug power cable from back of the unit, without turning it off, wait for about 10-15 secs & then while plugging in the power cable press & hold # key & the 3 key.....once u can c the unit powering on let those buttons go. Its important that u do the plugging in of the power cable while u r holding this buttons on the printer........u will c "partial reset" being displayed on the printer.......
4. If that does not do the trick u can try the same with the # key & the 6 key on the printer. This is a semi full reset.
