Question about Olympus Stylus 770 SW Digital Camera

1 Answer

Waterproofing I have had the 770SW for 6 months now and it has performed well in water. I was wondering if it is a good idea to buy silcone grease from a dive shop to occasionally grease the O rings seals?

It would be handy to have some, but you never need very much to keep seals pliable. Too much grease will attract debris the may cause your seals to fail. Clean the seals occasionally. As long as they are not damaged, your seals will likely outlast the camera.

Tip

CPU Performance

For the best CPU Performance.

Its Recommend Replacing the thermal grease once every six months. This way the new grease will give to more kick out of your PC And you will notice the difference and performance .the old grease is warn out But can Still be use but it slows down your pc.

the makers of CPU's don't want you to know this because they want you to buy and upgrade to there new CPU all the time

Change water filter

You can check the local Home Depot or Lowes if you have one near by.
Both have a good selection of filters for refrigerators.

Another good online source can be found here.

Good luck!

On my 1983 Crown Vic, the water disappears and I'm not sure where its going. new water pump, thermostat, ran great for 6 months after these were installed. not leaking, radiator was flushed out, new oil...

There is a chance the water it' been burn by the car . It's posible that a internal leak between the Intake manifold gasket or the head gasket going thruogh the combustion chamber.
A good idea will be to perform a radiator pressure test to determine that, also you can have your sparkplugs inspected for signs of an abnormal condition, sometimes they can tell you a lot.

Engine runs, no pressure

Hello bsinger:
If it is not leaking water anywhere and the nozzle is OK then go HERE
Turn it off and shut the water of. Go to pate 2.1 of the manual
Carefully remove part #2. Pull out part # 1 and make sure the O-rings are in good shape ad are lubricated with a good waterproof grease. Re-assemble and try it.

IPhone case

Hi,
An OEM in China called CNN.cn has made anodized iPhone’s OEM back case available as replacement parts. For $46.99 you will be able to replace the back case of your iPhone. It comes in black color and does not include the chrome Apple logo.
The back case replacement is not for the faint of heart, as it requires you to remove your current back case. It is not a simple clip and drop in cover case.

Thanks,
PREM

I like Silcone grease for this kind of thing. It's sold at electric shops such as Maplin (UK).

Drowned waterproof camera !!??

I would take batteries out open camera the best you can and let it dry out for a week at least!! then replace battery and try again,Most times when it is fully dry the camera will start to work again! ! If that does not work I would contact the company! and even if the warranty is up they may still fix the problem for free or low cost!

Information

Hey bella143,
The length of the video you can record is not determined by the camera it is determined by the size of the memory card you use. This camera comes with a 512mb memory card, and this camera should be able to record about 45 minutes of video on a 1gb card which should be about 22 minutes of video on a 512mb card. This of course is assuming your memory card is empty. I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Allan
