Is the unit plugged into a working outlet? If the outlet is working, the megatron tube is bad and the unit needs to be replaced. If you choose to explore replacing the megatron tube, you may find the cost of the part/labor to repair is almost 50% of purchasing a new unit w/a new warranty.
