If you have a blank screen while listening to an audio source (Radio, CD, USB, etc.) the interconnecting ribbon cable that goes from the system board to the display module could be damaged/cracked and needs to be replaced.
You need a composite video cable to the Clarion Video input. The usual ipod adapter is for audio only. If you have an AV ipod adapter and you still don't have video, the signal is not strong enough for the clarion to see it and you need a 12volt pre amp. you can find them online starting around 25.
