Every time I install the usb modem driver on my windows 2003 server I get a blue screen. The cd says that it is compatible with windows 2003 server. When I go to site to download updated driver, all that is there is vista, windows xp, windows 2000 and windows 98.

- There were no other peripherals attached to server. I removed both modems and installed the driver before connecting the modem and that worked. Thanks for the response though.
there are other peripherals that conflicts with this modem. try to plug this usb modem alone without other peripherals connected and check. if the problem persists then the modem itself has a problem

HiRO v.92 56K External USB Data Fax Voice Modem Model H50113 XFX-MG-63mi-7159 Motherboard AMIBIOS 080015 version 1.2 dated 04/23/08 Hello, hopefully there is an answer to my modem problem out there somewhere. I have the above mentioned modem that for some reason I need to reinstall every time I reboot my machine. My motherboard has USB enable/disable settings in the BIOS that are all set to enable. I have one COM port only 3/4 I believe it is but I do not have anything connected to it but every time I reboot my machine and then try to connect to the internet, my system cannot find the modem and I need to reinstall it. I have checked IRQ for conflicts but there doesn't seem to be any. The drivers are always there when I need to reinstall the modem, but half of the time the modem does not even show in my device manager and I can never see the modem with my dial-up software. Can you tell me if there is some way I can ensure that this device doesn't get booted out of my system or if there is possibly some kind of common issue that you can think of that would probably be kicking out my modem. Any help would be appreciated.
