The camera will not load a tape

The camera will not load a tape. Without a tape installed the loading mechanism works as it should. when a tape is placed in the camera it does not retract into the camera but opens back up as if to eject it.

Symptom shows Dew sensor is activated and most probably you will see water-drop yellow sign flashing in LCD.
Remove battery / power source from camcorder and leave it for 1-2 hours, reattach battery/ power to camera and turn it on and check.
