Question about Samsung SCH-u540 Cellular Phone
I have the same problem. I dropped it in water about 1 1/2 months ago. But it started working fine. One day i shut it off. and when i turned it back on the screen is white. I looked at the dot and its still white. It started working again but then I accidently dropped it and it messed up again. Anyway to fix it?

If you can look under the battery there is usually a red or purple design in a small rectangle or circle. If this looks red or pink the phone may have drawn enough moisture to short out the ribbon cable to the display. One thing you can try is to remove the battery and place the phone near a dry heat source (like the stove).
Leave it there for a few hours. If that doesn't fix your problem let me know I have a cellphone repair business and i might be able to give you some more instructions if this doesn't work!
