Disc is stuck in my sons xbox360, is there anything i can do without having to send it to germany, im uk, thanks

solution was ,contact the uk agent and he said factory that made this model da 5324 doesnt make them any more due to takeover!¬!!!! so throw it away and buy a new one !!!.by the way it was not made in germany, it was made in china what a surprise .the days of repair are gone. george

The best bet is to try and clean the laser, if the unit is under warranty, contact microsoft and send it back, if not, dont use a laser cleaning kit, they are useless at cleaning and excellent at spreading the grime over the eye. Open the case, an online guide will help you learn the art of pulling apart the xbox, dis-assemble the dvd drive assembly and clean the laser using a cue tip or cotton bud. Good Luck.

Try and open the dvd drive and clean the laser and the cd spinning motor with qtips and rubbing alcohol and see if that works. that is the most probable cause.

How long have you had your xbox360?

Im guessing what a year or two? Beacause Ive got a uncle whos got a xbox whos xbox is broke because its standing up and when he puts a game in its ok, BUT when he takes it out.

It Comes out like ****. Its all scratched up etc. and its due to his HardDrive Failure problems. Basically the hard drive in his xbox360 is either Old , Nackerd Or just ****. SO Im suggesting go send your xbox360 to microsoft or something aka Warrenty. Or Go buy Xbox360 warrenty off GAME. www.game.co.uk <-- £50 - £60
