My ipod touch is cracked

Go on e-bay and buy a screen repair kit for cheap. Then go on you tube to get easy repair instructions.  Apple won't replace cracked screens for free cause they know you broke it.

The others beat me to the punch. Go to eBay and search for a screen repair kit. Not too hard to do by yourself. You'll find a number of instructional websites by Google.
