Is it ide or sata drives you are using?

Guessing ide as sat have no jumper but best to check :)

Sett all the 3 drives jumpers to "cable select" and then just make sure you hard drive is in the master ide channel and on the end of the cable.

I have an acer Aspire 7720 with an broken motherboard. I had ordered a new one, I had installed it and everthing is going ok except the keyboard. I have ordered a new keyboard but the same think. It's not...

Check the laptop is accepting keypresses by using an external keyboard. I'm assuming you were confident that this replacement board was working without issue when you bought it? What may have been working in all other respects, could have had a faulty controller on the motherboard.
I'd also check that the keyboard ribbon was correctly locked into place as you re-assembled it and there are no kinks in the ribbon

I just replaced my old CD Writer/DVD player with the NEC ND-3500A . My old drive played DVD movies with video and sound fine but I get no sound out of the new one. I connected the included audio cable...

You need a driver for the soundcard that is in this PC (onboard audio?) Sometimes the setup will think it has the right card, and loads drivers, but it won't work. You need to look at the Motherboard if you have onboard and you should see VIA or some other chip pretty far away from the processor. The most common onboard audio is AC97, but a lot use CMedia and the drivers are not interchangeable. One way to try this is to go into device manager, hardware, and double click in Audio devices and find the soundcard. Right click, select properties, and hit uninstall. Then click scan and see what happens when it puts it back in. Remember to always reboot and you might get some sound. It sounds really lame, but when you put a new driver in a lot of Windows PCs will mute all sound and you have to go to Volume Control to get rid of it. I hope these ideas give you some things to try.

You probably tangled the ribbon or the lift-off tape (LOT) in the printwheel, so it can't spin properly. It can happen with any modern typewriter, but it should be easy to fix:
  1. Turn the typewriter off.
  2. Take the ribbon and LOT out.
  3. Push the hammer assembly (the part that sticks up through the space between the ribbon cartridge and the ribbon itself, when it's installed) back toward the paper to make sure it's snapped into place.
  4. Install the LOT, making sure it's taut, so it doesn't catch in the wheel. It needs to go behind the wheel, between it and the paper.
  5. Do the same for the ribbon. Turn the tightening wheel on the ribbon cassette and the LOT spool, so both are tight.
  6. Turn the power back on. Part of that routine it goes through is to find the "home position" of the printwheel, so it knows where each character is.
It should work now.

Now there is a new driver for sound which can be downloaded from the ASUSwebsite. Another thing is that is an old ver motherboard and might not be compatible with win 7. Try installing XP_Pro and see if it works then................sodeep.

Try the Microsoft UAA drivers install them first then go to device drivers and right click sound driver and update driver will go on net to find driver (it should find it) and then install it
The M/soft UAA driver unless installed first cause a lot of trouble with normal sound drivers

ASUS P4VP-MX display problem

If I understand you right, your display is not coming on with your new hardware. Try the eliminaion process:

take out the new things. Install them one by one, and try booting each time you install one. If that passes, turn off and install the next one, until you isolate the one failing. Once you know it, installit properly or come back here for help.
