Ribbon installition

I have installed a new motherboard nd after lots of troubles go it up and going but now I can not get the ribbon to work right--I have a hard drive-cdrom and cd rewriter--I can us a ribbonfor two hook up and I am fine but not the one that I need to use that has space for 4 hook ups--I have changed the settings on everything with the jumpers--please help--this is a new Asu P5GC-mx mother board
I have the same problem

Is it ide or sata drives you are using?

Guessing ide as sat have no jumper but best to check :)

Sett all the 3 drives jumpers to "cable select" and then just make sure you hard drive is in the master ide channel and on the end of the cable.
