scotts 1642 riding mower. Replaced battery starts great but when I take foot off brake engine shuts off?

- Have that bypassed. Problem happens if I also engage blades. Something isn't leting the engine know it's running and disable the brake and blade interlock?

Sounds like the safety switch in the seat is bad or disconnected. Look under seat to see if anything is unplugged.
