Hi
Get to the bios screen using F8 or F9, change the first boot device to CD ROM/DVD, then insert a bootable disk into the CD drive and try installing the OS first by completely formatting the HD during installation
Win XP and higher OS editions give you the option to partition the HDD

- Usually the f keys that are set are F8 and F9, but to be precise watch the screen while the system boots up and press the F-keys accordingly and get to the BIOS screen. send me a screenshot or foto in case if this does not workNov 05, 2009
