Shutting down problem

Hi, I have my Toshiba A 200 continuously restarting every time I restart. The only method I can stop this is by removing the lead as soon as the computer swithches off. If I fail to do so the computer restarts automatically. It seems like the restart command has become default. Any help is much appreciated!

Best to pres the power button for a few minutes to force shut down and restart.
If that doesn't work then remove power lead and pull the battery out and re-insert battery and power lead and restart.

Possible causes of the problem:
-
System overheating
- Virus infection
- Power supply malfunctioning

Solutions:

- Check your computer if the fan is properly working.
- Scan your computer for viruses
- Check your computer power supply by a qualified technician
- Reinstall your computer operating system

Try this also:

From the run box you can type shutdown -a and that should stop it from shutting down long enough for you to fix the problem. You need to look up how to remove msblast from your computer.

2004 ford f350diesle hard starting depress throtle nothing there

Dear dsmalley427,
I think it sounds like a fuel injection problem. You get fuel for a while until the injector backs up and then all of a sudden NO FUEL. The engine quits and the pressure drops and flow returns enough for you to restart. If I were you I would get to a good mechanic and check the fuel injectors.
OR--try adding a fuel additive that would clean the injectors.--Signed jwr

My computer won't shut down it just keeps restarting

The most common shut down problem is that the system will reboot rather than shutting down. In most cases, the reboot is triggered because Windows XP is designed to reboot after a critical failure. To stop windows from rebooting in case of a failure, you need to take the following steps:
Right click on My Computer, Select Properties, Click on advance tab, Click on Settings under Startup and Recovery, Uncheck the option Automatically Restart under System failure, Click Ok twice and try to shutdown the pc. If it shows any error code then let me know
