I have installed the realtek LAN drivers for my M4a77TD Pro (new build), however Windows 7 says there are 'no connections detected' and seems to think that there is no LAN cable plugged in. There is no light coming from the ethernet port, red or yellow.
What could be wrong?

- Yep - I tried installing the drivers on the disk that came with the board, after that didn't work I tried downloading ones for Windows 7 from the ASUS website.

Have you check if the driver is for Windows 7?

Hi
Try to reinstall the driver software and do a system restart as well which makes sure that the OS recognizes the LAN. If this does not work then try downloading the latest realtek LAN software for Win 7 from the below link:
