Question about Nintendo Game Boy Color Console

1 Answer

Game wont get past start-up screen

I have The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, and whenever I turn the game on, it will stay at the start up screen and the "Nintendo" will be a little bit "fuzzy"

Please keep in mind that I have already tried cleaning the game.

Thank You

It could be your gameboy has something in it. One time I got a dog hair in my gameboy and it wouldn't load anything. If that's not it, try removing the game and putting it back in while checking each time if the nintendo logo is fuzzy. Some of my older gameboy games require me to keep removing the game and pushing it back in over and over until it establishes a strong connection.

The game seems to be wrongly inserted, maybe it could be dirt in the contacts, try cleaning the contacts in the cartridge and the slot.

Legend of Zelda Links Awakening keeps freezing after start screen

It is because of the internal battery or the use of too many gameshark codes.

I turn on by gameboy color and the game screen goes blank, the game is in the gameboy but i get nothing.

Are you sure the connectors are clean? Dirty connectors can impair gameplay. You can purchase a cleaning kit to clean the connectors for both the cartridge and the system. Or if you're in a hurry, just blow into the cartridge connectors and the cartridge slot. Just make sure you don't spit or sneeze.
