Question about Sceptre X37sv-Naga 37 in. LCD Television
Anyone knows what the universal remote stting is for a Scepter TV.
The Sceptre TV do use the Sony codes. However, the cheap universal remotes do not have the buttons needed. The Volume Up/down and channel up/down are controlled with the circle of buttons (arrows) in the middle of the remote.
You can get an OEM remote from Sceptre. They still have them available. Sceptre is in California.

My Dish remote was able to use code 000 for Spectre TV LCD 40" screen. It worked by pushing TV until all panels lights were lit, then entered 000 and then # to confirm and finally power button. I used the info from previous posts, thanks! :)

Evidently most Sceptre use Sony remote codes, but not the S37sv Naga. The only S37sv function I can get to work with Sony codes is mute.
